Sarah Kornfeld is a singer and actress hailing from Boston. She is known for her versatility in performing various musical genres, including opera, oratorio, and musical theater.
Sarah's recent performances include the role of Aphrodite in the exciting new musical "Pandora" with Blue Spruce Theater, and she was also featured as the soprano soloist in Handel's Messiah with Chorus North Shore. She has also sung several concert engagements with American Classics, and was featured in their 2023 season-closing concert "Cartoon Tunes". Most recently, Sarah was featured as a guest artist with Ensemble Lyrae’s concert “Star Bright”.
Sarah's versatility as a singer has been evident in her performances in various musical theater and classical music productions in the Boston area, including standout roles such as Rose Stopnick Gelman in "Caroline, or Change" with Moonbox Productions. She has also been featured in productions with The Lyric Stage Company, Opera Hub, and Boston Opera Collaborative. Sarah has also collaborated with the Boston area music groups Songful Artists, Odyssey Opera, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, and Opera Boston.
Her recent concert work has showcased her range and skill as a soprano, with notable performances in works by composers such as Vivaldi and Bach. She has been a guest artist with several concert series, including The Boston New Music Initiative, Boston Metro Opera, Longwood Opera, and Boston Unhinged.
Sarah Kornfeld is an accomplished musician, holding degrees from Westminster Choir College and Brandeis University.
